At Mindshop we are passionate about giving people the chance to become a hero.

The advantages that students from Years 10 and 11 have to offer to business in evaluating concepts and problems is that the students do not have any of the paradigms of the business.

Past Excellence students have astonished their sponsors by the tremendous value given to their organization both financially and culturally. The students' clarity of perspective permits them to see and interpret the real cause of problems, and the impact of decisions or procedures.

This level of understanding is difficult for a business to achieve because the owners and managers are usually too close to their business to see what is really going on.

Benefits Of A Mindshop Excellence Program To Schools

The Mindshop Excellence Program is into its second decade. The first programs were run for Caulfield Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. The program is now run internationally. The feedback from participating schools is very positive as can be seen in the Mindshop Excellence video program (Please see below to view this video). The program is for Students of varying skills and potential. The structured approach creates a minimum of demands on the Teachers time. Mindshop encourages Teachers to attend the Students presentation on the final day of the program.

By involving a local host organization the School enhances their profile with industry and demonstrates to both Students and Parents a pro-active approach to career counseling. Research has shown that work experience is one of the biggest influencers in the Students job selection process, next to Parents. Mindshop Excellence links both factors.
